Modules Related to Serial Numbers

This is a blueprint of a report for tracking serial numbers. 

The concept is to have a serial number for the assembled product and specific sub assemblies and components in the BOM for tracking and tracing purposes.

 Upstream and Downsteam Tracking

In 6.1 it was possible to see all components in assembled in a production order with the respective serial number of the component serial numbers and master serial number. Experience a bug which is also logged on Launchpad

At the time of writing you'll need pull the fix from Launchpad as it's hasn't been merged with the trunk version yet. to do that install Buzaar and setup SSH keys https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/CreatingAnSSHKeyPair

In OE7.0 this is not configured yet problably due to missing modules like the Unique serial number management mrp_prodlot_autosplit. .
